My mom and I were searching for the perfect thing to do in honor of her sister who passed away a couple years ago who was from Portland, Oregon. She loved to write, play, and sing her own music. We found the Von Trapps who are from portland and had a live performance at Vega in Lincoln, Nebraska on my aunts birthday. We had been to Austria and Switzerland and went on all the Von Trapp tours. We even Met one of the original von trapp kids as an adult in Vermont. We felt this was a perfect situation and I loved their concert! Great music and great people.
